MODEL FIELD GUIDE Module identity
SFP-SX-MMD EEPROM guide
Start with the label on your SFP-SX-MMD module. Use the complete part number to find saved EEPROM examples, then check which physical unit each capture describes.

READ THE CONTEXT
Three checks for a useful comparison
Match the unit behind the name
Keep SFP-SX-MMD intact in your search. Compare the printed label with the part number recorded in each result. A similar model name is a starting point for inspection, not proof that two units contain interchangeable data.
Keep the revision and host in view
Record the hardware revision from the unit or its documentation, along with the host equipment and software version you intend to use. If a revision is missing from a saved record, treat it as unknown rather than assuming a match.
Compare the capture, not just its name
Inspect the saved byte count and available checksum information. A matching hash can identify the same saved bytes; it does not establish that the dump includes every memory page or that the module will work in your host.
PUBLIC EXAMPLE
Inspect a saved SFP-SX-MMD capture
Open the public demo to review its recorded information and saved byte count. It is an example capture, not a hardware compatibility test.
CONTINUE IN BINPAPA
From a model label to a saved file
Sign in to open protected record details. Confirm your email to download protected files or open full HEX. The limit is 20 unique EEPROMs in any rolling 24 hours; BIN, HEX and JSON of the same EEPROM count once in that window.
A saved EEPROM dump may contain only part of a device's memory. Check the capture and the equipment documentation before deciding how to use it.
MISSING A MATCH?
Ask for the model you need
Include SFP-SX-MMD, the hardware revision if known, and the intended host equipment. Describe the information you are missing before submitting the request.
Review the prefilled request in your account before sending. Availability and response time are not guaranteed.
